Dr. Craig Wilkinson, M.D. F.A.C.S.

Born and raised in Utah, Dr. Wilkinson has served the Salt Lake community for over twenty five years.

Dr. Wilkinson attended Westminster College and the University Of Utah School Of Medicine.  He completed a residency in General Surgery at Maricopa County Hospital in Phoenix and a fellowship in Vascular Surgery at the University of Southern California.

Dr. Wilkinson is board certified in General Surgery, and is considered by his peers to be an expert in vascular health.  He has 30 years of experience in the treatment of varicose veins, spider veins, superficial thrombophlebitis, deep vein thrombosis and venous ulcers.  He has been performing VNUS closure, Laser closure (EVLT) microphlebectomy and other minimally invasive treatments of vein problems for over 10 years and was the first surgeon in Utah to use these modern techniques.  He has performed more VNUS closures than any other surgeon in Utah and more than most surgeons in the United States. 

His work has been published in the American Journal of Surgery and the Southwestern Surgical Society. He is a Fellow at the American College of Surgeons and a member of the American Medical Association, The American College of Phlebology, The Utah Medical Association, and the Salt Lake County Medical Association.

As current director of the Vascular Care Center and Laboratory, Dr. Wilkinson is devoted to making the latest and most advanced technology available to the Utah community, while providing the best service possible for his patients.
